Prostate Health Screen
Screening for prostate cancer is not yet routinely available. The London Doctors Clinic Prostate-specific health screen gives men the opportunity to discuss any concerns they may have about their prostate with an expert GP and undergo a prostate examination and a PSA (prostate-specific antigen) blood test with same-day test result.
Reasons to be concerned about your prostate may include:
- Waking during the night to pass urine
- Difficulty or hesitancy in starting urination
- A weaker flow or stream of urine
- Dribbling of urine
- Strong family history of prostate cancer
Life Specific Prostate Health Screen
PSA test (£92) + 15-minute appointment (from £89)
We recommend this screen for men over the age of 50 years of age or for any man who has concerns regarding their prostate.
It includes:
- A 15-minute appointment with an expert private GP
- Prostate examination
- PSA profile including total and free PSA
No test is perfect in screening for prostate cancer, but the Life Specific Prostate screen allows you to take control of your prostate health and speak with an expert private GP about your concerns.
If your PSA is raised or prostate examination is abnormal, we can arrange a referral to a private urologist or contact your NHS GP so you can be seen and treated urgently.
Life Specific Prostate+ Screen
The Prostate+ Screen adds an additional layer to the standard prostate screen. It allows you to have:
- A 15-minute appointment with an expert private GP
- Prostate examination
- PSA profile including total and free PSA
- MRI Prostate – A non-invasive scan, with no radiation, which allows images to be taken of the prostate. Undertaken by our imaging partners.
