As part of Spire Healthcare we are able to offer private CBT sessions through Spire Mental Health.
Spire Mental Health
Feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or stressed? We’re here for you. Spire Mental Health provides prompt and private access to therapy through easy video or phone sessions with highly qualified mental health professionals.
We utilise Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to help manage symptoms of anxiety, depression, stress, PTSD, OCD, and phobias like fear of heights or flying. CBT focuses on:
- Reframing negative thoughts to gain better control
- Breaking down problems into manageable parts
- Equipping you with practical strategies for daily life
- Helping improve resilience and overall mental well-being
How does it work?
CBT sessions are usually held weekly, lasting 55 minutes each. The number of sessions depends on your specific needs. You can book and select your therapist online, with sessions conducted via video or phone. Together, you and your therapist will design a personalised plan, including practical exercises to complete between sessions.
This service is open to UK residents aged 18 or older, without the need for a GP referral. Before starting, ensure that CBT is the most suitable form of therapy for you, as other types of talking therapies are available.
